Before I had my beautiful babies, I was very fit and athletic built. Pregnancy was really hard for me because I had gestational diabetes but not only that I really took advantage of being pregnant. I thought it was great because now I can eat all the things! I use to take two slices of pizza, slab them together like a pizza sandwich and eat it and still be hungry after! The pic on the left was about 3 months after I had my second baby, Christian. 😊 Around 200 lbs. This was when we went to DC, Washington and my dad came to visit us. I remember my dad telling me he felt so bad because he said I was walking and pushing the stroller with a limp and breathing heavy. I really did feel so sick and I didn’t learn my lesson during my second pregnancy because I gained 80 lbs my first pregnancy. I did not take care of my health. It surely has been a hard journey and hope mothers now can learn to stay active and exercise while pregnant because its not only healthier for the baby but will make a huge difference during recovery, after giving birth. My biggest weakness was fast food and ugh… I can still remember how I was so mentally weak and couldn’t resist the temptation of going through McDonald’s… But now I know how much more incredible I feel now, compared to eating things that made me really feel sick, lethargic, drained physically and mentally.
